I want to thank Danielle for her kind words in our 3 March 2022 Instagram/Facebook post. Our patients become familiar faces and part of our practice family. I thank you for the honour of sharing in your life and for the trust you put in me as your gynaecologist.

I love meeting up with you once a year or more. Sometimes we catch up, sometimes we go through difficult times together. Sometimes an unexpected and upsetting diagnosis is given, sometimes we share the journey of menopause or a surgical procedure.

Every patient adds positivity to my day and being able to help someone even if it is only to emphasize her female power fulfils and inspires me to continue my work. It is my privilege to be there for you as your doctor and for you to share your concerns and thoughts in a safe space.

I am sharing some of my photographs with you from my early student times, my internship year at Helderberg Hospital as well as from the time I was doing obstetrics at Vergelegen Mediclinic.
