Although I do share some of my personal experiences and thoughts in my office’s confidential and safe space, I am actually a very private person. After 12 years of private practice, I started this website to be ‘with it’ in terms of technology and not as a marketing tool. I had no internet presence prior and rarely post on Facebook. I am still getting used to my photo being all over my page!

One of my patients agreed to write a message despite being a very private person herself – a big thank you from me! She came to my practice as a breast cancer survivor many years ago. Her positivity and courage humble me as she is facing a difficult journey this time.

When I am dealing with patients I silently acknowledge and have the utmost respect for their vulnerability. She hopes that this message might be of value to anyone going through a difficult time.

Life has taught me that strength does not come from facing easy things or from comfort zones, but from facing and going through life challenging matters. True Strength comes from dealing with and working through painful, sometimes life-threatening challenges without giving up, with courage, determination, and compassion for the greater good of all.

During such a frustrating, painful, and confusing ordeal, one tends to find oneself feeling alone, vulnerable, and broken. It is in such situations when deep, true strength is developed. God prepares His greatest warriors through facing the toughest challenges, to purify their hearts, minds, bodies and spirits
